Orlando And Ocala Clinics Used Meningitis Contaminated Steroid Injections
Orlando and Ocala clinics are among the eight Florida facilities who bought and used inject-able steroid medications that were contaminated with meningitis. Orlando Center for Outpatient Surgery, Florida Pain Clinic, Marion Pain Management Center and Surgery Center of Ocala were among the Central Florida facilities who used the contaminated steroids. At least 47 people nationwide have contracted meningitis linked to the administration of this medication. It was traced to the New England Compounding Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Suppliers of such contaminated medical products can be held legally liable to all patients harmed by the drug.
